KRS Camping

Finally, i came back from the 4D3N camping at Kuala Kangsar. Before going there, I was busy packing luggage because I afraid of missed out anything that is needed when in need. As the head of programme book, I also need to edit, change and print out the programme book. It was really a troublesome task because I got to know it at the last minute and I needed to make several changes according to the information from lecturer. Really thanks to En Yusri who is very patience and help me a lot when completing the programme book^^

On Tuesday, we gathered at garaj bas before depart. After about one hour journey, we arrived at Tamam Rekreasi JPS, Kuala Kangsar. By the time we arrived, it was raining and we needed to carry our luggage to the campsite as the bus cannot drive in. As we arrived much more earlier than the scheduled time, we got extra time to settle down ourselves. Luckily, there was not enough tent for all the campers, so girls ended up slept at the dorm. The dorm is like a small hall and six classes of girls were squeezed inside like sardin fish. But I think it was better of sleeping inside the tent. Hahaha... Appreciate it^^ Students from IPG Kampus Bahasa Melayu also joined us for this camping. I was amazed when I saw their well-organised tent, shoe gadgets, hanging clothes racks, gate and main door with krs flag. So awesome and they were really well-trained in making all this. Honestly speaking, I really don't know how to do all that >.< As the theme of Satu Malaysia, we were divided into ten groups with mixed races and campus. So, all the activities that was carried out were in that group and of course, I get to know some new friends. That night, we have a talk about Bantu Mula by Encik Yusri and I slept at about 12.30am after bathed. The bathroom is like a 澡堂 and I think I cant bath if I did not bring the sarong. There is a big pool in the centre and five 花洒 at the wall. So, you can choose either way to bath and obviously wanna get the 花洒 is not easy. It was really a special experience of showering using sarong and learned the technique of wearing your clothes inside the sarong. So, I ended up half wet half dry... Hahaha...

The next day, I woke up at about 5.30am to get ready for moral session. So bad that there was a cat came near me and I screamed out because the cat touched me >.< Omg, hate it to the max! The biggest enemy during the camping is none other than the cats. All the cats are not afraid of human being and they can even jumped over you. *Fainted* After having breakfast, we were having orienteering near the village there. Each group was provided with three bearings and one map. We needed to punch on green card at each station. It was raining that day so we were wearing raincoat most of the time. The whole journey goes on smoothly and  I just followed the people to each station. However, we were need to walk in the mud in one of the station as the result of we did not have cooperation (according to the lecturer). So, my sports shoes were in a very dirty condition and even my stocking was full of mud. We were having lunch at the mosque and at there, we got the chance to clean up ourselves but we still need to wear the wet stocking and shoe. I think this is the source of 香港脚. LOL. We continued the journey with marching session (luckily we did not need to GULING), finding flora and fauna station and last but not least cooking maggie mee and telur dalam bawang under the bridge. Honestly speaking, I did not help much in setting up the fire and we actually luan luan cook.   We were the last two group who finished all the station and by the time we went back to campsite, some of the people were already finish bathing and relax there. That day, I used the time of having dinner to go to bath to avoid the crowd of people and thanks to Yi Wen who help me take the food^^ At night, the talk about ikhtiar hidup was given by Encik Yusri. I cant remember what he talked because most of the time I was falling asleep =P. I slept vey well this two days because I even don't know that it was raining outside and I also don't know that there were people who walked pass by me. Slept like a pig. Hahaha...

The third day, I woke up very happily because I know tomorrow is the last day already. Woke up as usual, having moral session and having breakfast. After this, we were having water activities by the riverside. I was the one who wear cap all the time even in the water. This is because it was scorching hot that day and it was the causes of sunburn for many people. I did not enjoy much in the water activity included the water confident, rescue skill and activity kayak. The flow of water very fast and I was afraid even I was wearing life jacket. Luckily, Yi Wen and I were the first one who went back to campsite and we managed to bath earlier before the other people came back. In the evening, we were having marching competition. This is also the source of sunburn. Imagine marching under the big hot sun with only the beret which cant cover much of my face >.< Some people even have a deep V shape on their neck. LOL. Even though I practised marching before, I discovered that ours' version is not the same with the other people. However, we managed to get an average marks, it was much more enough as for me. We also spent some time in practising for the malam kebudayaan performance. I was a very minor minor character and I enjoyed in the dancing part actually. At night, we ate dinner at about 9pm because all the people included lecturers were eating together.  After eating, malam ikatan bersaudara started. Performances going on one by one and I really enjoyed in some of the creative and funny performances. That day, my groups were in charged of jaga malam, so I slept at about 2.30am. zzz... The most funniest part was Yi Wen and I woke up at 4.30am and we were curious why nobody woke up and at last we found out that we actually woke up one hour earlier >.< Of course, we slept again after brush teeth and wash face. Hahaha...

The last day which was the most awaiting day. We were having majlis pentaulihan as Leftenan Muda KRS. It was raining and the ceremony was held inside the hall. Timbalan Pengarah IPG was coming and our group was awarded the best discipline group. It was like 分猪肉, I think. LOL. We were having some photography session as memories. Then, we packed our luggage and going back to Ipoh. After having lunch, I fall asleep while on the way back until we arrived at the campus. Here, ended my krs camping!

All in all, this camping is not so tiring and torturing as for me. This is because we slept at the dorm which is free of hot and humid condition. We also can get well sleep in the night without call for gather and ate six meals per day which is acceptable as for me. However, besides cats, I also faced the problem of constipation. The feeling was like you ate a lot and your tummy getting bigger day by day and you feel like want to release it out but you cant. Luckily, upon arrived at hostel, I straight got the feel of going to toilet and finally released. All the dirty and smelly clothes were sent to the laundry. I slept at 7pm on Friday after doing mask and I woke up at 10am the next day. See how tired I am. Hahaha....

I hope no more camping! XD
