回首

今天，小我们三届的学弟学妹们来学院报到了。回首三年前，我们凌晨四点就驱车从家乡往北的方向来到怡保。经过了一系列的登记程序，我终于可以进到宿舍了。看到宿舍破旧、肮脏、布满灰尘的样子，我的心就冷了一大半。忙了一大早，爸爸妈妈也饿了，所以他们就先去吃饭，而我和欣琳就留下来打扫房间。可怜的我们一定要赶在一点集合前打扫完毕，不然晚上我们都不用睡觉了。爸妈吃饱回来，我们都还没打扫好。我们就到小亭子去吃他们打包的午餐，而爸妈就帮我们打扫房间啦。角色对调～哈哈～当我们吃饱后，回到房间，他们也已经把房间打扫的一干二净，真的是人多好办事啊！集合的时间差不多了，爸妈也向我们道别了。现在回想起来，我发现我们都没有好好地道别。我记得，那时我在房间里而他们就慢慢地步出房间，留下我的欣琳和空荡荡的房间。

刚刚与妈妈通电话时，我问她为什么当天就这么急忙的回家呢？我们都没有好好地道别？妈妈说，当然咯，如果她在逗留就一点的话，眼泪就会留下来了。那时更不舍得了。。。

今天端午节

今天是端午节！

很可惜的是我一粒粽子也没有吃到T.T 

以往的端午节都在假期，所以每每都有粽子吃。

今年，人在怡保，心中莫名的想吃妈妈包的粽子。

为了让我在上来怡保前能够吃到粽子，妈妈今年特地提早包了粽子。

除了在家里吃了N粒的粽子外，妈妈还准备了粽子让我带上来与朋友分享！

包粽子对我来说是一件很麻烦的事，

我还决定不要学包粽子了。

从买材料，选粽叶，煮粽叶，洗粽叶，浸粽叶，炒香材料，

到包粽子，煮粽子，

对我来说都是复杂，繁琐的事。

吃一粒粽子非常简单，只需要打开粽叶就能够慢慢地品尝。

可是，包粽子却需要花上几个小时甚至一天的时间。

这都是我不想学包粽子的原因。

可是，

现在我决定明年一定要认真地向妈妈学包粽子，

我要把这门手艺学起来。

这样我才能年年吃到有妈妈味道的粽子！

不管是肉粽，红豆粽还是碱水粽，我样样都喜欢XD

Come back to Ipoh for almost one week. But I still miss home very much. I still remember last Sunday, dad brought us to 云来包店 which is opposite Convent School to have breakfast. It was a sunny morning and many early birds were enjoying their dim sum. The food there are quite nice, the bun and dim sum are all from Skudai. But, the problem is there are not enough workers to deal with the customers. We had one big bao, two char siew bao and 5dim sum which costs RM22.70 in total. After that, we went to da bao economic rice for me to eat when on the bus and brought some apples. Before I get on the bus, I walked to dad who was coming out from the Courts. I hugged him and said "Happy Father's Day". By then, I known that I was going to cry. Tears wet my eyes and I not dare to see my mum again because I afraid I will really cry out. I also scare mum will cry but I discovered that she got wear sunglasses to cover her eyes. Haha. When on the bus, my tears rolled down. I was very unwilling to leave my home, my family... Three weeks holidays have make me too enjoy with the life at home. 

Now, I am at Ipoh. Counting down for the days to go back, 49days, 7 weeks. Call back home has become an everyday must-do-thing, but I miss my family more when hear their voice T.T. I hope time will pass faster and faster. I want to go back home! >.<

Happy Father's Day and Happy Birthday to Dad

Father's day falls on the third Sunday of June and dad's birthday is on 20June. So, we celebrated the two occasions in advance because I need to go back to Ipoh on Sunday >.< This time mum and I decided to bake a birthday cake to dad. We wanted to give dad a surprise!!!

Birthday present  for dad! Camel Active Shoe! When we were shopping at Malacca, dad spotted this shoe and he likes it very much. The price is RM179.90 after 10% discount. After I pay the bill, dad gave me one ringgit note. I was wondering and he said, he brought it from us for RM1. Hahaha... Old-fashioned dad! Dont worry, your children will not ran awany! We will love you more <3  

June holidays Part 5 - Gathering with sista

This was our second and last gathering during June holidays. So bad that we have less and less gathering because everyone is very busy and it is not easy to fix the date. Haha... Anyway, last Wednesday Rui, Hian, Ling and I went to BP Mall to shop and chat, except Shin Lin ( why u din come?? Argh >.<) Long time did not meet with Ling and she looks more beautiful now. She always has many things to share with us... Hahaha... Hope that next holidays we can have more gathering because those who studied at universities also will come back! XD

June holidays Part 4 - 我家的歌王

My dad loves to singing during his free time, so every Wednesday night is his K-time! During June holidays, I followed him to go singing so that I can give him some comments or suggestions and be the most faithful listener. As I said last time, I sang a Hokkien song with dad and sometimes dad will sing with mum too^^

June Holidays Part 3 - Midnight badminton

This was my very first time to play badminton late in the night, 11pm to 1am. It was midnight but by the time we back, there were many people still playing badminton and mostly were uncles. So geng!

Bro called me yesterday noon and asked if I would like to join him to play badminton.

弟：姐，晚上要打羽毛球吗？

我：要！几点？

弟：十点过后

我：。。。（在那时候应该要准备睡觉vs好久没有打羽毛球了，我好想打之间,我犹豫了一下）OK! 你载我！

弟：OK! Bye!

That's all the conversation between my bro and I. I was thinking that I am still young and I should do something 热血! Haha... Playing badminton at midnight is considered 热血 as for me! 

By the time we reached there, it was people mountain people sea. All the courts were used and we need to wait for our turn due to some mistakes in arranging the time.

Midnight badminton started!

Besides my bro, his gf and me, others were my bro's friends. We played double and I was shocked that my bro still can play so well because he has gained lots of weight and did not play for a long time. In the middle of playing, one of my bro's friend accidentally get injured at the right eye because of the flying shuttlecock. Pity him and he hardly to open his eye. We were worried whether he managed to drive back home, so bro followed him and I drive back alone. Wow, this was also my first time driving car alone at 1am!!! Actually, I was more scare than felt excited. There were a few cars on the roads only and looks like the roads were owns by my Ah Gong! Nobody was blocking my way! XD

After back, I bathed and dried the hair. It was already 2am! Wow, super 热血 man! Playing badminton and driving back home in the midnight! I am still young except that I have muscle pain at both my right hand and buttocks! Hahaha... 

June Holidays Part 2 - 有朋自远方来

My friend, Ming Qi from Sungai Petani was coming to BP on Monday and Tuesday. It was so unbelievable because I thought that she was joking to me. And, she came alone! So brave to travel alone from north to south. Actually, it was quite nervous when you know that your friend is going to visit your hometown and you will definitely crack your mind to bring him/her to the most interesting, nice, popular, famous places in your hometown and not forgot to taste the most delicious food! In short, we will like a tourism ambassador to promote our hometown! BUT, there were not much things to promote about Batu Pahat except the food, I think! XD

Tuesday morning, we went to have breakfast at the 老字号mee rebus. I was my third visits on that week and it is a must every time I went back. Also, we da-bao 菜头粿 to eat too. I will recommend that mee rebus and 菜头粿 because it is not the same with the north style and I would like to let her try the food that I used to eat since young! However, I think the mee rebus is quite spicy as for her... XP

After that, we went to Square One because there was no place to go. She went to BP Mall on the first day arrival and she even told me BP Mall is very sienz... Lolz... It was 10.30am by that time and you can imagine that most of the shops there were closed and only Parkson was operated. It is more and more sienz... Felt so paiseh, so I brought her to my place to have a rest. When at my house, I think she felt lagi sienz because she wasn't coming to BP to watch TV or online one... Haha... 

About lunch time hour, I brought her to Juz Waffle to have some snacks first because Chin Yan was going to bring her to out to eat later on. Juz Waffle is really a popular cafe at my housing area because many people are having lunch there.

About 2pm, cy sms me and asked me to go out with them because I can be the gps. Lolz.... Orang BP bukan orang BP keh?!?! Haha.... So, i followed them in the end. Our first destination is 连香茶餐室 to have the famous Laksa. We were very lucky because the customers came after us were told that the laksa was all sold out! Also, we were having the free laksa treats! Double-lucky man! XD

Then, we went to The Summit which I did not go for a very long time. See, BP really no place to go! To my surprise, Mc Donald was closed and left a very big space there. Argh... my childhood memories were gone! Mc Donald was the place that we used to meet, sit, rest, eat and play >.< Also, many of the shops were closed such as the hair salon that I went before, 茶坊 and many many more!!! Haiz... I think the biggest change of BP is none other than The Summit! It used to be the most popular and crowded shopping mall in BP when I was in primary and secondary school. Our hang-out place at those years... really xsxs...  

After the lagi lagi sienz The Summit, we went to minyak beku there. 大伯公庙 is one of the very HUAT and HENG temple in BP. The statues are very big and new.

We also went to the seaside. OMG, sun was shinning brightly that time! 

Guess which one is me? Haha... 

Then, cy brought us back to my house to have dinner! Thanks mum for cooking all this... XD

Mum and dad also brought us to go to night market at night. Before went there, I already told her that pasar malam here is much more sienz and normal as compared to Ipoh one. Hope that she will not have high expectation with pasar malam here... Hahaha... Mum bought some cakes for her to eat at the bus and some local foods to bring back home. Say goodbye to her before sent her to cy house. She took 9.30pm bus and reached SP at 6.30am. Whoa, what a long long journey! 

She said, she will never come to BP again. I said, a very sienz town but is my lovely hometown! XD

Childhood Memories

那些年，在保姆家的日子：

小时候，我是由auntie妈妈照顾的。对于在auntie妈妈家的记忆，应该都是我比较大的时候了。我记得每当下午时分，我们几个小瓜都会排排地躺在客厅的tilam上睡午觉。auntie妈妈很爱干净，常常把家里打扫的一干二净。虽然auntie妈妈因患上血癌而不幸逝世，可是她永远活在我的心中。

表歌表姐表弟表妹都是年龄相近的孩子，所以我们都是从小玩到大的玩伴呢！

那些年，我们一起去旅行：
爸爸妈妈很喜欢带我们到出去玩。出门时，妈妈都会自备热水，把奶瓶，奶粉一并带出门。一路上，如果我们肚子饿，或是闹脾气，妈妈就会泡“neh neh”来哄我们。妈妈也会准备“无所不在之走到哪里小到那里”的器具来让我们小解。哈哈...想到这个都觉得好笑！妈妈说，在车上时我是站着也能睡觉的小孩，而且我最喜欢的就是站在中间的那个洞，手握着两边的椅背，一路摇摇晃晃地睡，而且还不会跌倒的！

我的寒衣很可爱吧！现在都不知道跑去哪里了...

那些年，我也会驾车：

从四轮的车子，两轮的脚踏车后到三轮的脚踏车，我都是有Kid-License的。

好喜欢这个时期的我哦！脸明显的瘦了！哈哈！这是妈妈为我在阿嬤家举办的三岁生日。桌上的食物都是妈妈准备的，我还记得蛋糕是我自己选的呢！

那些年，我和我爱的家人：
妈妈说，我小时候很爱撒娇，而且看到藤条眼泪就会一直一直地流下来。我没有哭出声音，只是流眼泪罢了。妈妈说，看到我流眼泪时，她都不舍得打我了。哈哈...
