Happy Birthday to Yi Wen!

Today is Yi Wen birthday and we celebrated it yesterday at Folie-folie cafe located at Greentown. I like the ambience and food and services there^^ A nice place for gathering with friends! XD

After this, we went to Aeon Station 18 to shop. Long time did not go there and I enjoyed myself  there~

All in all, I was very happy! Happy birthday to Yi Wen^^ All the best! XD

Weekly post

Long time did not update my blog because I don't have any happy, memorable things to share and record at here. Life here is as usual and as time passes, I realised that #renxinnance#

Okay, 13July was our 3rd anniversary! I have come to Ipoh for three years. So, we celebrated it two days earlier because many people were not free on FRI. We went to 之润养颜, Bercham to have our dinner with mentor! Waited for so long and many foods are not available. No sotongs, no lotus which make us cant eat 酥炸苏东 and 咸蛋炒莲藕. Never mind, I still like the sweet and sour fish, 铁板豆腐 and 虾米南瓜！

Saturday, 14July

Early in the morning, (7.20am), we went to have breakfast at 明阁香港点心. We have come to Ipoh for three years but we still haven't try the famous dim sum here, except those normal dim sum. By the time we arrived, it was people mountain people sea. Luckily, we managed to get a seat and don't need to share table with others people. Before that, we do some research online about the must-eat dim sum. The 四大天王 are 烧卖、虾饺、叉烧包和糯米鸡！So, we know our target dim sum and don't miss it!

萝卜糕~ not bad, serving hot and waited for so long.

蛋挞～not nice, i prefer 南香蛋挞^^

猪肠粉～not nice, Kampar one nicer~

芋角～nice,crispy!

麻芝～my favourite! Top list! 里外都能吃到花生！

叉烧包！not too sweet and got 韭菜 inside.

黑芝麻糊～ 很香，够浓，可是吃多会腻 XP

 All costs RM73.88 for 5 people included 6% government tax. It is quite reasonable. After that, we went to walk around new town because we were too full. We went to buy egg-tarts again. I found it online and it is very popular here!

可能是没有趁热吃，所以塔皮有点硬！我还是比较喜欢南香蛋挞！哈哈

 I also discovered that the most famous curry mee at Ipoh also located at new town, so next time we can go have a try! We also bought 新荣香 kaya puff and mooncake to eat later on! After that, we went to Ipoh Parade to shopping. By the time we arrived Ipoh Parade, it was only 10am and many shops were not operated yet. So, we really woke up earlier than the time to go to school today! Tired but contented!

回首

今天，小我们三届的学弟学妹们来学院报到了。回首三年前，我们凌晨四点就驱车从家乡往北的方向来到怡保。经过了一系列的登记程序，我终于可以进到宿舍了。看到宿舍破旧、肮脏、布满灰尘的样子，我的心就冷了一大半。忙了一大早，爸爸妈妈也饿了，所以他们就先去吃饭，而我和欣琳就留下来打扫房间。可怜的我们一定要赶在一点集合前打扫完毕，不然晚上我们都不用睡觉了。爸妈吃饱回来，我们都还没打扫好。我们就到小亭子去吃他们打包的午餐，而爸妈就帮我们打扫房间啦。角色对调～哈哈～当我们吃饱后，回到房间，他们也已经把房间打扫的一干二净，真的是人多好办事啊！集合的时间差不多了，爸妈也向我们道别了。现在回想起来，我发现我们都没有好好地道别。我记得，那时我在房间里而他们就慢慢地步出房间，留下我的欣琳和空荡荡的房间。

刚刚与妈妈通电话时，我问她为什么当天就这么急忙的回家呢？我们都没有好好地道别？妈妈说，当然咯，如果她在逗留就一点的话，眼泪就会留下来了。那时更不舍得了。。。

呜呜呜 ～～～T.T

今天端午节

今天是端午节！

很可惜的是我一粒粽子也没有吃到T.T 

以往的端午节都在假期，所以每每都有粽子吃。

今年，人在怡保，心中莫名的想吃妈妈包的粽子。

为了让我在上来怡保前能够吃到粽子，妈妈今年特地提早包了粽子。

除了在家里吃了N粒的粽子外，妈妈还准备了粽子让我带上来与朋友分享！

包粽子对我来说是一件很麻烦的事，

我还决定不要学包粽子了。

从买材料，选粽叶，煮粽叶，洗粽叶，浸粽叶，炒香材料，

到包粽子，煮粽子，

对我来说都是复杂，繁琐的事。

吃一粒粽子非常简单，只需要打开粽叶就能够慢慢地品尝。

可是，包粽子却需要花上几个小时甚至一天的时间。

这都是我不想学包粽子的原因。

可是，

现在我决定明年一定要认真地向妈妈学包粽子，

我要把这门手艺学起来。

这样我才能年年吃到有妈妈味道的粽子！

不管是肉粽，红豆粽还是碱水粽，我样样都喜欢XD

Come back to Ipoh for almost one week. But I still miss home very much. I still remember last Sunday, dad brought us to 云来包店 which is opposite Convent School to have breakfast. It was a sunny morning and many early birds were enjoying their dim sum. The food there are quite nice, the bun and dim sum are all from Skudai. But, the problem is there are not enough workers to deal with the customers. We had one big bao, two char siew bao and 5dim sum which costs RM22.70 in total. After that, we went to da bao economic rice for me to eat when on the bus and brought some apples. Before I get on the bus, I walked to dad who was coming out from the Courts. I hugged him and said "Happy Father's Day". By then, I known that I was going to cry. Tears wet my eyes and I not dare to see my mum again because I afraid I will really cry out. I also scare mum will cry but I discovered that she got wear sunglasses to cover her eyes. Haha. When on the bus, my tears rolled down. I was very unwilling to leave my home, my family... Three weeks holidays have make me too enjoy with the life at home. 

Now, I am at Ipoh. Counting down for the days to go back, 49days, 7 weeks. Call back home has become an everyday must-do-thing, but I miss my family more when hear their voice T.T. I hope time will pass faster and faster. I want to go back home! >.<

Happy Father's Day and Happy Birthday to Dad

Father's day falls on the third Sunday of June and dad's birthday is on 20June. So, we celebrated the two occasions in advance because I need to go back to Ipoh on Sunday >.< This time mum and I decided to bake a birthday cake to dad. We wanted to give dad a surprise!!!

Birthday present  for dad! Camel Active Shoe! When we were shopping at Malacca, dad spotted this shoe and he likes it very much. The price is RM179.90 after 10% discount. After I pay the bill, dad gave me one ringgit note. I was wondering and he said, he brought it from us for RM1. Hahaha... Old-fashioned dad! Dont worry, your children will not ran awany! We will love you more <3  

June holidays Part 5 - Gathering with sista

This was our second and last gathering during June holidays. So bad that we have less and less gathering because everyone is very busy and it is not easy to fix the date. Haha... Anyway, last Wednesday Rui, Hian, Ling and I went to BP Mall to shop and chat, except Shin Lin ( why u din come?? Argh >.<) Long time did not meet with Ling and she looks more beautiful now. She always has many things to share with us... Hahaha... Hope that next holidays we can have more gathering because those who studied at universities also will come back! XD
