Rojak post

I sat Hubungan Etnik's UAK on Tuesday. This sem we only has one UAK paper. Before this, I never pay any attention in the class, so I only study and understand the topic of Hubungan Etnik when revise for the exam. Luckily, we got the tips and it eventually came out in the exam. #Relief#

The safety in my housing area is getting worse. Yesterday, there was a robbery case happened on my friend. We had night class and they were about to go out. The driver who is also the victim drove her car out and then when she get down from the car to close the gate, the two robbers who were riding a motorbike came near her and robbed the things in her hand. She was injured and the robbers ran away when they saw the other friends came out from the house. It was such a fearful case and we really need to alert with the people around us. Never holding any handbag and we must lock the door properly.

Today, after Gerko's lecturer gave us aeroplane and cancelled the class, we went to William IX located at Ipoh Garden East to have our dinner. This restaurant was called Pasta House before and it was renovated and changed to the new name, William IX. The interior design is very classic. I like the setting both inside and outside.
The place that we sat.

I ordered BACON MUSHROOM PASTA!
It is nice and yummy but the serving size is really small. Hahaha...

Not enough eating. We then went to pasar malam for second round. I bought the popiah but this time the taste was a little bit difference. It was not serving hot as before. I also bought a homemade Tuna bread and Red bean bread for tomorrow.

Tomorrow is Perak's public holidays, so I am going back to Home Sweet Home. I miss my home so much. It is about one month already. I think this study week I cant go back home as usual because we need to help out our lecturer to collect data at secondary school >.< So, we decided to go back this time even though we need to come back again on Sunday. Mum has already prepared the dishes that I ordered and by the time I reach home tomorrow, I will have a really home-cooked dinner. =)

Birthday celebration at Ipoh

I am officially 21st now! This means that I can enter casino and vote! Hahaha...

The day before my birthday, 11 April, was a public holiday, so we went to the newly-opened Aeon Station 18 with our mentor and her friend who we called jiejie. This is because mentor wanted to get know of us more and she eventually foot the bill... :P We had our brunch at Sakae Sushi. We waited for almost an hour to get the seat. It was crowded with lots of sushi lovers!

Take a photo while waiting

This is how we ordered the food. Touch-screen one. Hahaha...

Most of us had bento set. I like my Haru Set which has teppanyaki chicken and salmon fish with rice. I like the Chawanmushi too, it is some sort like boiled egg. The green tea also special with a fragrance smell of charcoal. Actually, we just have a simple talk with each others. Miss Ong and jiejie are very friendly and they really like pickled ginger. We also know there is a strong bond of friendship between them which started from primary school until now =) After eating, is shopping time. Miss Ong and jiejie were really shopaholic and they enjoy shopping more than us. In the end, we grabbed the chance to sit at the seat available at the corridor or any shoe shops. Hahaha... #jiaoshisuandelo#

At about 5pm, we went back to jiejie house to have some drinks. Jiejie house is just a stone away from Miss Ong house and it is nicely-decorated. The most important thing is that there is a huge mirror in the living room, so nice. Then, we had our dinner with Miss Ong as she treated us sushi, we also treated her dinner. We went to the Italian pizza restaurant, Michelangelo's Pizzeria which is recommended by Miss Ong.

Once we entered the restaurant, I found out that there was actually a trick. I was so shocked when I saw Cherry holding the cake and came out from the kitchen with the other friends. Omg, they were celebrating my birthday. I never think of that before because Miss Ong actually "pakat" with them to bring me there. Why I never wonder a driver who recommended to have dinner there but don't know the way to go. #howstupid# Anyway, I was so happy and thanks all who planned for this and turned up^^

I would like to say that the pizza is really delicious. There are many favours available and we can mix two favours in one pizza. The serving size of the pizza also very huge and I think three girls can share one pizza. I like the Tuna Pizza the most. The pineapple on top also very juicy. I am 猛吞口水 while typing :P Besides, the chef and boss who is a Italian, is very tall and good-looking. He can even like a roti canai hawker who let the pizza flour fly high in the air and turn it 360 degree. After eating, he also came to our table and asked our opinion about the taste of pizza. Most of us can't understand what he was talking but luckily Miss Ong can communicate with him. I was going to toilet that time and I miss the chance to hear him saying "Happy birthday" to me. So pity man >.<

It was Miss Ong's idea of putting our "V" finger on top. Young man :D

The business is so good and more and more customers came in, so we had to go back instead of sit down and chatting. A happy birthday's eve^^

The other day is my BIG DAY! But so bad that we had class from 9am until 10pm. One thing that make me cry out was the video made by Shin Lin and Yi Wen. The stories was like this, EDU lecturer gave us aeroplane and cancelled the class suddenly. No choice, we had to waste our time in the classroom doing nothing but I was reading my storybook. Then, they say even lecturer did not come, we also need to present the tutorial. My OS is "Presentation? O, ok. None of my business as it was not my turn". But... but... suddenly, I hear Show's new song 不具名的悲伤 came out from the speaker. IT IS A BIRTHDAY WISHING VIDEO SPECIALLY MAKE FOR ME.

I was so touching when watching this video. Thanks Shin Lin and Yi Wen for the effort in making this video, finding the song and collecting the sound recorded from sotongsclub sisters and seniors! Also, thanks to Sotongsclub sisters for the recorded sounds or images from Belgium,. Sabah, Sarawak, KL, Kampar and Malacca. I miss you all >.<

We had some free time from 5pm to 8pm, so we went to Wongkok Restaurant to have our dinner. We had a free bucket of Pearl Milk Tea. But, the food served was not so nice. No more next time :P

After this, we had Haagen's Dazs ice-cream as dessert. Thanks to Shao Hui! The actual Paradise is only two-storey but our PARADISE is 4-STOREY! The scoop is also extra big! This is because Shao Hui has some buddy there, so we got this special PARADISE. Hahaha...

Before we take photo, the 1st storey melted, so it fall down, left the three other storey >.<

Afer enjoying the dessert, we rushed back to the campus because we had class on 8pm. But, we were late. Luckily, the lecturer was in good mood and accepted our 'birthday celebration' excuse but next time can't already.

All in all, I have to say that I had a really surprising and enjoyable birthday celebration both from family and friends. Again, thanks to the wishes, video, gifts, photo of me and Show. I appreciate it very much <3

This few days...

We passed up the assignments by 4 April, so that means we have time to relax ourselves now. Thursday night, we went to Cherry's house to celebrate her birthday in advance. Her housemates organised a surprising birthday party for her! The house and Cherry's room were decorated nicely with colourful balloons. We had birthday cake, snacks, champagne and played games until 1.30am! ^^

Yesterday, we went to sing K at E-box. By the time we reached there, it haven't open, so we waited until 12pm. We sang until about 4.30pm and it was raining heavily. After this, we went to Tesco to buy some groceries and had dinner there. It was really a tiring day.

Today, we went to newly-opened AEON JUSCO STATION 18. Finally, I got the chance to go there and really thanks to Sheng Chao's invitation. The travel time for Bercham to there is about 30 minutes, so it is quite far. There are many branded shops there and famous restaurant. The mall is decorated with many balloons!

It was people mountain people sea...
We had to queue up to have our lunch at KIMGARY.

I love this shop very much because I can taste the foods sold for free!

The branded shops include G2000, Hush Puppies, Polo Haus, Fossil, Esprit, Swatch, SUB, Crocs, ELLE, Cotton On, Camel Active, Padini, Giordano, Nose, Adidas, Shins, Sasa and many many more.... YEAH! Luckily, we had RM200 Book Voucher!
This was sure a good news and I can enjoy shopping without considering of the price:P
So, Shin Lin, Yi Wen, Shao Hui and I went to Ipoh Parade's Popular Bookstore last Saturday

Also, we met with many IPG's friends there!
I brought A4 paper, stationery, pendrive, revision books for sisters, notebooks and so on...

After this, we had our dinner at ROCUSA CAFE.
The interior design is so beautiful.
